We are grateful to our patients, and sometimes our patients tell us how grateful they are for our services. Below are testimonials received from our patients.
I have a brief but compelling story to tell you. As you know, I am a 76 year old patient of yours. I had been an amateur musician all my life until about 15 years ago, I started to lose interest in music and stopped playing. I did not even listen to music anymore as it sounded like banging on tin cans. After visiting you and receiving my new hearing aids, I started to regain the ability to listen to and like to hear the songs. I think that it took awhile for my brain to repair some hearing functions. I have now started singing and playing my guitar again. I am attaching a couple of songs that I recently recorded. Please excuse the poor quality of the tracks, but listen to them and try to feel the deep appreciation for your gift of making my life a bit more pleasurable. Thank you!

“I am a musician and at one visit, Dr. Allred had me bring my acoustic guitar with me since I had been having trouble hearing my musical tones when playing on stage with other amplified instruments. We spent a great deal of time that day. Dr. Allred was very patient and I guess we stayed most of the afternoon and evening getting my hearing aids set properly. I also at the time worked in loud environments with noisy heavy equipment so he had some challenges there as well. Now I have a “universal” setting, a “music”, a “high noise”, and a “quiet” setting for times when I am in a meeting with soft talkers. With all these personalized settings, it makes my life much more enjoyable when around other people.
“Dr. Cahill came along, a new graduate with her fresh approach and new technology and has done wonders with her very caring and patient approach. She has been working with me for the last several years off and on, as she was finishing with getting her degree. I can’t say enough good about her, with her obvious concern for my personal satisfaction and the most modern and latest technology she brings with her. When Dr. Allred retires some day, he will be leaving his patients in “good hands” with Dr. Cahill.
“I am very pleased with the care the Hearing Center gives me and would recommend them to anyone, especially those who have special needs. I drive 90 miles from my home to their office for my visits because I have confidence in them.”

“On my first visit, Dr. Allred took his time and in a very calm, caring manner thoroughly tested both ears using numerous pieces of equipment. I was really impressed that he obviously and truly wanted to get the most accurate data possible and you would have thought you were his only patient of the day the way he took his time to explain everything in detail and answer any questions and concerns you had.
“I purchased a set of hearing aids that day and Dr Allred programmed them to produce a result to my middle and inner ears that best represented normal hearing. The problem was, I didn’t know what “normal” sounded like and desired the hearing aids to be programmed somewhat louder than what “normal” might represent.
“Again, I was amazed that this doctor not only wanted me to have a hearing experience that was as close to normal hearing as possible but he also cared that the product met “my” expectations and desires as well. Dr Allred was probably overly patient with me over the course of a few additional visits as I was a bit persistent that I wanted the hearing aids a bit different than the programming equipment said represented “normal”. What I have today is the perfect balance between “diagnostic normal” and “my normal”.
“I am betting that many people purchase hearing aids and then accept less than what is considered optimum hearing to them believing that is the best the hearing aids are capable of. I would highly recommend that more people locate an audiologist with the patient, truly caring nature and skills that Dr. Allred possesses when addressing hearing deficiencies. It can change your life!”
“I am a Correctional Officer at a maximum security prison farm, and I work as a Security Officer for the Conroe Hospital. I always had nervous sweat for fear I would misunderstand directions given to me either during a Major Use of Force or while assisting in the ER department at the hospital. Now, while I sit witting this letter of appreciation I am so excited how unbelievably great I feel about life in general. I do feel ashamed about myself for delaying so long to have taken the first step in getting help. It now makes sense that my medicine intake and blood pressure may have been reduced significantly if I could have only been able to hear. In fact my TV volume is reduced by 66% from what I normally had it set. My poor little wife loved me so much she never ever complained about the loud sound coming from the TV.
“Dr. Allred I could go on for pages how you have changed my life. All I can do is say THANK YOU and may “GOD” bless you. You are too great.”
